It's been a while since I have updated this blog. After recent events, I felt the need to come put some of my thoughts out there for the world. I just spend 2 weeks at home, without pay, while the Federal Government decided on FY14's funding and the debt problem.
I was almost going out my mind trying to find things to keep me occupied. I will say, I got to watch a lot of my favorite show on Netflix - The Office. I also was able to beat Resident Evil 5 on XBox 360. I touched up my cooking skills by trying new recipes nightly, and even looked into applying for school.
The Shutdown was a few things for me - needed time off, an unpaid vacation where I traveled nowhere, time to take care of a few personal tasks, and a test of my sanity. I'm glad the House and Senate came to their "agreement", at the last hour, lol.
That's all I will say about that.
